Staffing Changes in the Office of Admissions

April 8th, 2017 by Dr Ian Walker

Lots of administrative change for us in the last little while.  As some people already know, our Coordinator of Admissions, April, is currently on medical leave.  This has left us a bit challenged to respond to applicants in a timely manner and to carry out some of the other functions of the office.  Our new staff member, Renee, is coming on board on Monday and we are very excited to get her up to speed as quickly as possible.  Please be patient with us as we do so.

Also, applicants should note that we have moved.  Phone numbers remain the same, but our office is now G212, not G740

  • Please Dr. Walker, would you consider providing any brief update on when offers may come out ?

  • Hello Dr. Walker,

Do you anticipate a possibility that offers will be out before this month is over?

Thank you for your hard work

    • I really wish this wasn’t the first comment on this post. The offers will come out when they come out. Asking won’t make them come sooner. From experience, it is actually better not knowing the time frame. Just be patient and trust that Admissions is doing their best to get the results out to you in a timely manner.

      • I wouldn’t jump to say the OP was impatient, knowing an estimate provides a sense of assurance and it is only human for us to be curious about estimated release date. For some, this may even help with planning other life events. It also reflects well on the admissions team to keep applicants updated on the estimated timeline.

        • Having some predictability would absolutely help manage our life. It’s not about having the results sooner. I wish Dr. Walker at this point would consider at least providing a smaller time window as to when we should expect the offers such as before May, first week of May, or second week of May ? that might help.
